Ham Radio - May 10, 2008

As some of you already know, I am interested in Amateur Radio and have an Extra Class License. I have been spending a lot of time recently on the air talking to folks all over the world. It is a great hobby that I really enjoy, but now is the time to get back to the music for the spring, summer and fall. I hope to meet a large number of my fans and old friends this season at the music venues. See you soon, and keep on supporting live music. .

Check out the music!!!!! - August 25, 2007

You can now listen to clips of my music right here on my site. Just click on music, then on the title of the song, then on the mp3 that suits you. All you have to do then is sit back and listen to a full minute of each song. I hope you enjoy this new feature. Along with the music, you will find stories of how I came to write each song, and as soon as I get finished with it you can read the lyrics.

Local Musicians Have New CD - March 22, 2007

Tom Love and Bob Tatum, two well-known locan singer/songwriters, have joined forces to release a new CD entitled "Live at the Crooked Door."
Tom, who is perhaps best known for his song, "Gonna Put My Heart On The Swapshop", which can be heard every week on WECR 1130 AM, plays regularly around the High Country. This is his fourth CD to be released, and the first on which he has covered songs written by other songwriters. Tom wrote two of the songs on this CD, "Train Songs" and "The Storyteller." Tom is affiliated with BMI as a songwriter and you can check him out on the web at www.tomlovemusic.com.
Bob Tatum who teaches at Avery Middle School, also plays and sings regularly. Bob performs with Ellie Hjemmet on a regular basis, and they have quite a following locally. Bob is an accomplished singer/ songwriter/ guitarist, and a real crowd pleaser wherever he goes. Bob accompanied Tom on his last CD, "Building on Tradition" and they have had sales in both Europe and Australia.
